Time is going by quickly now

We are all getting excited as our trip is coming up more quickly now.  We will fly to Barcelona on September 22nd on an overnight Delta flight.  We will spend the day we arrive touring Barcelona and Chris will get to go to Barcelona's famed Football (soccer to us American's) stadium.  Much of this city is about Gaudi and his creations like the one below.

After checking into our hotel and finding a place for dinner, our plan is to collapse from being up for 24 hours or more and get a good nights sleep.  When we wake up we will have breakfast and head to the Port of Barcelona to board the NCL Epic for what we hope will be an epic 7 day cruise.  It includes Naples, Rome and Florence/Pisa in Italy and Cannes, Monaco and Monte Carlo in France then our last stop is Mallorca, Spain before returning to Barcelona.  It will be a busy 9 days and we have much planned.   Our itinerary is showing in the widget to the right and you can also see where we are and our current weather.


The kids are most excited to see Pompeii, everything in Rome and the Leaning Tower at Pisa.  Paige is wanting to see the Yellow Submarine in Monaco that is about the Beatles song...but she also loves all things France.  Lindsay loves and soaks in everything she sees and it's anybody's guess what Chris will enjoy besides the soccer stadium and Pompeii which he is excited to see.

The Vatican is on our list too

 

 

This trip was their Christmas gift so they will have waited a long time to actually experience it.  I love being able to share the world with them through travel.  They are good travelers and always appreciative of the experiences we have shared.  I hope this will be the trip they will remember forever.
